This is a neat piece of peripheral device which is designed to mimic the look of a trash can. TEMPO is a unique hard drive storage device. Intended to protect the user from accidentally deleting files, it can also be used as an external storage device. As you delete files, they are automatically copied to the TEMPO. It is still just a concept by Cagnina Design which hasn’t been technologically designed but I can’t wait to try it out. Read the rest of this entry »

What was your reaction when you first saw the new Olympic logo? I am sure my face expression was the same as many print and web designers out there when it was splashed across the papers and on the television. I thought the logo used for the bid was more consistent with the Olympic games identity but I have to give the new logo alot of credit due to the fact that it has got people talking about it and also got people designing and uploading their own representations online. So why does Google really want to buy Feedburner? I think the main and most obvious reason is because Google has realised that most of us are now getting and speed reading our content via a RSS Reader, instead of reading the originating websites/blogs that display Google AdSense or Rich Media adverts. While touch sensing is commonplace for single points of contact, multi-touch sensing enables a user to interact with a system with more than one finger at a time, as in chording and bi-manual operations. Such sensing devices are inherently also able to accommodate multiple users simultaneously, which is especially useful for larger interaction scenarios such as interactive walls and tabletops.

Dutch manufacturer Nexus Technology launches its new product psile for the living room, it looks slick and I’m surprised its a PC but it looks rather familiar- Does it remind you of the mac mini? The audio/visual experience is finally coming, where we won’t just rely on terrestrial TV but can login to different site to watch video.
