The British Film Institute (BFI) have a fascinating collection of footage from bygone days that I always enjoy watching. It’s rare that you find a film from the past that was recorded pretty much on your doorstep though. If you’re familiar with the Dusted offices you should take look at this clip and get a glimpse of Tower Bridge Road and it’s inhabitants as they were in 1931. Read the rest of this entry »

Lately there have been a few high-profile web sites (notably YouTube and Facebook) publicly announcing there intention to cease support for Microsoft’s stalwart web browser Internet Explorer 6. Many a web designer/developer will have whooped with joy when these news stories broke. Does this finally mean we can stop worrying about this troublesome piece of software? With the recent introduction of street view to Google Maps UK you can now virtually visit the Dusted office (as well as most of the rest of London and 24 other cities). Shame you can’t actually look inside the office. Then again, maybe that wouldn’t be such a good idea.

Finally an iPhone game aimed squarely at designers. Created by FORMation Studio, KERN is a game for typophiles in which you have to correctly place the missing letter into the descending word.
