Remember those afternoons spent at home in the early 80’s having the stirring experience of playing with those gigantic pixels on the TV screen? That was Atari reigning supremely among kids. Read the rest of this entry »

A friend always used to ask, “Hey Jack, what colour can you see because I can not see the correct colour”. Sim Daltonism is a colour blindness simulator for Mac OS X. In real-time it filters the area around the mouse pointer and displays the result just as it would be seen by a colour blind person. For us designers and artists, choosing the correct combination of hues either from the pantone book or from the swatches option in Photoshop is so important due to the fact that it plays a major part in the process of creativity. It is still just a concept by Cagnina Design which hasn’t been technologically designed but I can’t wait to try it out. Read the rest of this entry »

Why have I never heard of the Interrobang before‽ Neatly encompassing a question mark and an exclamation mark, this piece of punctuation has been around since 1962 and this is the first I’ve seen or heard of it. Read the rest of this entry »
