Delete your files, Tempo to the rescue
This is a neat piece of peripheral device which is designed to mimic the look of a trash can. TEMPO is a unique hard drive storage device. Intended to protect the user from accidentally deleting files, it can also be used as an external storage device. As you delete files, they are automatically copied to the TEMPO. It is still just a concept by Cagnina Design which hasn’t been technologically designed but I can’t wait to try it out.
As the 250 GB of space is used up, the embedded LEDs light TEMPO’s exterior surface from the bottom up, as if it were physically being filled. The file transfer is done using bluetooth making the process so easy to use.

This reminds me of the Flashbag concept. A USB Flash drive with a micro-pump. It’s an inflatable memory stick that, as you fill it with data, it expands. It remains pumped-up even when un-plugged so you have a visual guide to how full the drive is by how bloated it is. Like the TEMPO, it’s only a concept but another nice example of how the digital world can cross into the tactile, physical world.
