Less is more ‘fun’


Remember those afternoons spent at home in the early 80’s having the stirring experience of playing with those gigantic pixels on the TV screen? That was Atari reigning supremely among kids. Those kids grew up, quite a few of them have become designers and have been flirting with that iconic language in many occasions in the last few years. That’s the case of Grant Orchard. Inspired by the early days of video game, he’s produced simple but surprisingly expressive animations using pixels as characters on some quirky shorts for MTV. Check it out.
