Shiny new iMac
Apple have just announced their new style iMac. They are now framed in shiny aluminium and glass. Apart from the obvious gorgeousness the range have had quite a boost inside too. They’ve ditched the 17” model and now have 2 flavours of the 20” and the 24”.
All models now come with 1GB of memory as standard (about time) and range in speed from 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo to 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme. All now have SuperDrives (CD and DVD burning) and hard-drives go from 250GB right up to 500GB in the 24” model. The keyboard has also been updated and is now a slither of aluminium with low-profile keys. V. sexy.
Apple has also updated some of their other lines such as the Mac Mini and the iLife & iWork software packages.
