A CMS in a Flash

Etihad Airways Airport Lounge
We recently launched a brand new website for Depiction Lab, a design consultancy specialising in the creation of branded environments for the retail, commercial and leisure sectors. The site was to be quite standard in terms of its content, with news, a portfolio and company profile. However the visual approach was more adventurous, meaning that a Flash website was the best fit for them and their audience. Read the rest of this entry »

Happy sixth birthday Dusted!

Dusted truffles

We think partnership and sharing is a recipe for success. As with many great partnerships, chocolate and caramel work exceptionally well too. It’s our sixth birthday, so as a big thank you to all our clients, we thought we’d celebrate by sharing a box of Charbonnel et Walker’s lightly dusted plain chocolate enrobed truffles Read the rest of this entry »

The Dusted Enterprise

It’s funny how people are perceived. We often make a point of asking temporary staffers at Dusted, what their experience was like and whether they got on with everyone. Just recently, we’ve had Oliver Fish with us (hitting the phones and rationalising our database) and today is his last day in the studio before jetting off for a tour of South East Asia. Google street view comes to Dusted

Screen grab of Google street view at 151 Tower Bridge Road
With the recent introduction of street view to Google Maps UK you can now virtually visit the Dusted office (as well as most of the rest of London and 24 other cities). Shame you can’t actually look inside the office. Then again, maybe that wouldn’t be such a good idea.

Desk space at Dusted

Dusted office

Following the recent expansion of our London premises, we are now in the rather privileged position of offering part of our new office space for rent. For a moment, we did consider installing a small bowling lane, however this was discarded in favour of desks, but only really on the grounds of noise levels and economic growth. Happy fifth birthday Dusted!

Greyhound number 5

There seems to be something quite significant about the number 5. The best hotels are always awarded 5 stars, the Pentagon has 5 sides, Michael had The Jackson 5, Lorraine had 5 Star and Johnny 5 was the one who came alive. We have 5 natural senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch) and according to various mythologies, the universe is made up of 5 classical elements: water, earth, air, fire, and ether. Dusted with snow

Snow on the Dusted Terrace
Please forgive our child-like enthusiasm, but it doesn’t snow very often in SE1. This is a shot of our terrace; there’s something about pure undisturbed snow… that makes you want to run through it and make snowballs. So, if you’re in the area this afternoon, come join us for a snowball fight in the park.
