The footer, as if to warrant its physical position in life, can often be left until last during the design process, like some sort of digital outcast. To the contrary, the footer deserves so much more attention than that. It can often be the next port of call in the event of a site’s navigation lacking a link that a user feels should be there (most commonly, this is a link to contact details). The iPhone finally went on sale here a couple of weeks ago, at last! I had been anticipating the launch since the announcement a few months back, at which point I was happy to hear that Apple were joining forces with AT&T, the network I had a contract with.

For some time now JavaScript enhanced and Ajax driven web applications have been attracting a huge amount of interest. With so many of these applications popping up, it is very difficult to keep up with latest industry developments. Although Dusted’s applications aren’t heavily reliant on JavaScript or Ajax functionality, we do use them both to enhance the user experience.
