We’re in the middle of a little web site refresh here at Dusted and as part of this we are including some video on our site. No real problem there, but we came across a bit of a hurdle when it came to, what I believed was, a fairly simple video process. Radiohead’s latest video for their single House of Cards is, in true Radiohead fashion, a little bit ground-breaking. The video was recorded without light and without cameras. Instead they employed a couple of scanning technologies that mapped the scenes in 3D. They could then use the raw data to create the video using various rendering options and show the scenes from any angle they desired. Read the rest of this entry »
