Web framework comparison

With so many developers focussing on the speed of web application development and ease of maintenance, it was only a matter of time until web frameworks began to appear. With this in mind, I thought It was about time I checked out Rails and Symfony to see how they matched up.

It seems that after some testing Rails is the quicker of the two although it can be a pain to host and Ruby is another language to learn. Symfony is not as concise as Rails, and lacks many of the features but if you are a PHP coder, it may be an easier transition and you will be able to build and maintain web application in no time!
