Darren Holburn
Partner
At school Darren had designs on becoming an architect. Challenging function over form while balancing usability and the aesthetic has always been a passionate and challenging proposition. Things seem to have come full circle.
Over the last ten years Darren has worked in very diverse agencies, with leading businesses and formed partnerships with clients across a multitude of sectors. The outcome has been the development of an objective and consultative approach – listening and really understanding what stimulates and engages people. Having worked for leading agencies such as Euro RSCG Columns on direct marketing, corporate design and consumer branding, Darren can offer objectivity and valuable first hand experience.
Planning and developing a modern integrated communications and branding strategy aren’t far from those heady school plans. Working tirelessly to deliver the brief, creating differentiated design, analysing usability, mapping the environment and partnering top consultants are key aspects of the Dusted methodology. Architecting information has replaced bricks and mortar. And building now refers to client reputations. Mrs Harper, Class 2, has a lot to answer for.
